About this live event

This session is designed for therapists looking to build confidence in recognizing, assessing, and treating Bipolar Disorders. Participants will learn about best clinical assessment practices for the identification of Bipolar Disorders, and simple ways to implement these strategies into their practice. The session also will cover an overview of evidence-based psychotherapies that support individuals with Bipolar Disorder. This session is made possible by the family and friends of Joshua Paquette.

    • Danielle Novick, PhD

      Danielle M. Novick, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and educator with more than 25 years of experience teaching, researching, and providing clinical care. Dr. Novick is an International Society of Interpersonal Psychotherapy (ISIPT) certified trainer, consultant, and therapist in Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) and Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT). She is a member of ISIPT’s executive board and currently co-leads the ISIPT special interest group for IPSRT. Dr. Novick is a member of the International Society of Bipolar Disorders (ISBD) Psychological Interventions Task Force. She is the author or co-author of multiple peer-reviewed and invited publications, including many about bipolar disorders and IPSRT. Dr. Novick owns Interpersonal Psychotherapy Services, a virtual private practice that offers both direct care and professional training in IPT and IPSRT. She also works at the University of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Pennsylvania.
