Sherry Duson is an Arizona and Texas Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, and the Founder and former Director of The Center for Postpartum Family Health in Houston, Texas. She sees clients in Tucson and Houston, and holds the specialized certification in Perinatal Mental Health. (PMH-C) Since 1999 she has focused her practice on helping new mothers and the needs of young families. She spent much of her early years in practice working with new mothers struggling with perinatal mood and anxiety, and advocating for increased awareness for maternal mental health care needs. In 2014, she opened the Center for Postpartum Family Health, using therapists training under her supervision, to provide services on a sliding scale to the community. Sherry also spent 15 years serving on the Advisory Board for the Yates Children Memorial Fund at Mental Health America of Greater Houston, where she joined others in educating and advocating for perinatal mental healthcare, and was co-chair of the Postpartum Support International Conference in Houston, Texas in 2008.
